Paddle and Pour Art & Music Festival

Saturday, May 26 – Noon to 10:00 PM – canalside at Schoen Place
Our first festival of the season each year, founded in 2015. Enjoy craft beer and wine from upstate breweries and vineyards, live music all day, and browse the work of regional artists and artisans. Experience great food from local eateries and visit unique canalside shops. And be sure to catch the exciting competition of the Annual Pittsford Regatta. Memorial Day Parade

Memorial Day Monday, May 28 – 10:00 AM
Traditional patriotic parade through the Village center honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country and recognizing our veterans and those serving in the armed services, featuring a variety of marching bands and community groups; memorial service held after the parade at Pittsford Cemetery to honor the fallen. Pittsford Triathlon


Sunday, June 3 – 7:00 AM

Summer Concert Series - Carpenter Park at Port of Pittsford

Friday evenings in June and August – 6:30 PM
Free annual concert series along the canal in Carpenter Park at the Port of Pittsford Park on Friday evenings, featuring a variety of musical styles throughout the season; open to the public. Port of Pittsford Park includes a band pavilion and amenities for boaters – potable water, electrical hookups and additional dock space. Concerts for Kids – Carpenter Park at Port of Pittsford

Two Wednesdays, in July and August – 6:30 PM
Free concerts along the canal in Carpenter Park at the Port of Pittsford Park on two Wednesday evenings, featuring great interactive music and fun for the whole family; open to the public. Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Community Concert & Fireworks

Wednesday, July 25 – 8:00 PM
A special event for this season – in collaboration with the Town of Pittsford, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra will present a free community concert on Wednesday, July 25 at 8:00pm (note revised time) in the Municipal Parking Lot behind the Pittsford Community Library (24 State Street); bring a chair or a blanket. Post-concert fireworks over the canal begin at approximately 9:30pm - best viewing from Library parking lot or on south side of canal. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Callahan Theater at Nazareth College, 4245 East Avenue.

Pittsford Food Truck and Music Fest

Saturday, September 8 – Noon – 9:00 PM
The town’s last big event of the season featuring delicious food from a variety of regional food trucks and local eateries and great music all day, plus carnival rides and plenty of games and activities. Held on Main Street, from the Four Corners (Monroe/State streets) to Locust Street. Admission is free and food is available for purchase; open to the public. Family Halloween Fest

Sunday, October  21 – 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM – St. John Fisher College

Kids’ Trout Fishing Derby

Saturday, May 19 – 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM - Powder Mills Park
Annual fishing derby with trophies awarded in various age groups; registration required. Also features fish hatchery tours and complimentary refreshments. Find complete information as the date approaches on the Pittsford Rotary website.

American Legion Rayson-Miller Post 899 event:

Veterans Day Ceremony

Veterans Day, November 11 – 11:00 AM
This annual ceremony honoring all those in our armed services who serve, or have served, our country takes place on Veterans Day at the Veterans Monument in Carpenter Park at the Port of Pittsford, 22 North Main Street. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this moving tribute, which includes a presentation of colors, the placement of wreaths, a rifle salute and the playing of Taps. A reception, also open to the public, follows at the American Legion Post, 21 North Main Street.

Candlelight Night

First Tuesday in December – 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Village of Pittsford
An annual holiday celebration in the Village of Pittsford featuring live music, carolers, horse-drawn wagon rides, visits with Santa, treats with Mrs. Claus, and the lighting of Village Christmas trees. Many merchants offer holiday treats and special sale items as well. Find details as the date approaches on

Candlelight Crawl

First Tuesday in December – 7:30 PM – Midnight - Village of Pittsford
Toast the season with a "spirited" stroll through your favorite pubs in the Village of Pittsford! Find information as the date approaches on Event begins 7:30pm at Label 7. Purchase a wristband for discounts on food or beverages at the participating establishments. All wristband sales benefit the Pittsford Food Cupboard.
